PURI KENCANA RESIDENCE
Careful sequencing of internal and external spaces in this home creates a series of seamless transitions between outside and inside of the house. The main goal is to create a nature enveloped urban dwelling. In order to enhance the natural characteristics of the site, MARK Associates proposes to create a green axis concept by mimicking the natural characteristics of existing urban park located right opposite of the land. This creates the sense of Nature within and Nature beyond of the house. Mirroring or continuing materials, such as flooring or cladding, both inside and out designed to create a seamless transition between the spaces. Designing a bedroom with a balcony is a wonderful way of building in an aura of tranquillity. In this scheme, the understated glass balcony almost appears invisible — providing uninterrupted views of the trees and landscape beyond.
